AR/VR LAB

The AR–VR Lab at the Incubation Centre is envisioned as a high-end innovation, development, and demonstration facility to support startups working in graphics, immersive technologies, simulation, digital content creation, gaming, and extended reality (XR) solutions. Equipped with advanced AR–VR headsets, motion sensors, haptic devices, 3D modelling tools, and industry-standard development platforms, the lab enables startups to move from concept to prototype and pilot deployment in a structured environment.

The lab offers significant value to startups by enabling development of immersive applications across multiple domains. In training and skill development, startups can create virtual simulations for industrial safety training, equipment handling, soft-skills training, and onboarding programs. In manufacturing and engineering, AR–VR solutions can be used for process visualization, assembly guidance, maintenance simulation, and quality inspection. Real estate and architecture startups can develop virtual walkthroughs, immersive property showcases, and interior visualization tools that allow clients to experience spaces before construction.

The lab also supports applications in healthcare training, such as surgical simulations and patient education; education and orientation programs through virtual classrooms and campus tours; tourism and heritage by recreating historical sites; and marketing and branding through immersive product demonstrations and experiential campaigns.

By providing a collaborative environment for experimentation, user testing, and live demonstrations, the AR–VR Lab helps startups reduce development costs, improve usability, attract clients and investors, and accelerate commercialization of innovative immersive solutions.
